Manual Lymphatic drainage is a gentle, rhythmic and very powerful healing modality that supports health and brings balance to the body and mind. The Lymphatic System plays a vital role in the body's immune response. Our lymphatic system is the body's first line of defense against illness. It supports and detoxifies the immune system. It is the filter and purification system of the body. After surgery, the lymphatic system springs into action, causing swelling to aid in healing. It is during those times that it needs support as it becomes overloaded.
